Your instructor will assess your top rope belaying skills to help eliminate any bad habits you may have picked up. They’ll provide tips and pointers to ensure your skills are at a high standard, before moving onto the complexities of lead belaying.
Next, you’ll dive into the the session, covering new concepts such as lead climbing, clipping quick draws, belaying, and catching falls, all tailored to the group's pace and individual learning needs.
Don't worry; it won't just be about learning new rope skills we will also look at developing your movement skills and help you become a more efficient climber. The session will wrap up with a debrief to recap any key information you may have missed and to help guide you on your next steps.
