WHY Join?
With the announcement of next year’s Scottish SUP Fest, we’re inviting you to turn your festival weekend into a full Scottish paddling adventure. After making the long journey from the Highlands down to SUP Fest in North Wales earlier this year, I know exactly how big that commitment feels—so why not make it truly worthwhile?

Join us for five days of White Water SUP, designed for the independent paddler who wants to explore some of Scotland’s classic rivers in a safe, social, and confidence-building environment.

Expect new friends, new rivers, and maybe even a new favourite whisky!

Accomodation
We will be staying at Badaguish Lodges, which will be booked once deposits are received. Each guest will have a single bed in shared, single-gender rooms. The lodges are comfortable, self-catered group accommodations with:

-
A large communal social space for evening downtime
-
Facilities for us to provide group meals on 3 of the 4 nights
-
A visit to a local pub (likely the Old Bridge Inn) on the other evening, this is NOT included.
-
A small drying room suitable for personal paddling gear
Paddling
Over the last year, Devan and I have been living, working, and paddling throughout the Highlands, exploring a huge variety of rivers. We’re excited to share some of our favourite spots with you and make your week in the Highlands one to remember.

Our aim is to paddle five different river sections across the week. The exact plan will be shaped by your goals, experience, and group dynamics. Depending on the team, we may operate as one group or split into two to give you more tailored experiences.

We can also incorporate a half-day off during the week for rest, recovery, or even a sauna—especially useful as your adventure doesn’t end on Friday; the weekend is still ahead!

Sample Itinery
Monday - River Tay (Stanely Section)
Tuesday - Middle Findhorn
Wednesday - Middle Spean
Thursday - Spey Section (possible half day/rest activity)
Friday - River Tay (Grandtully, Home of SUPFest2026)

However, this list is not limited there are many rivers in scotland. But it is definetly down to the rain gods as to what we can paddle!

Transport:
Transport to the rivers is not provided, but we’ll coordinate lift-sharing to spread the driving load. Distances in the Highlands can be large, so expect at least 1.5 hours of travel to paddling locations each day.
